The Warm Healing Hands for Child Development Foundation believes that good health and holistic well-being are fundamental to living with dignity and realizing one’s full potential. This is especially true for older persons, homebound and bedridden patients, individuals living with chronic illnesses, and families facing social or economic vulnerability, all of whom require continuous care and support across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions.
In response, the Foundation established the Health, Care and Well-being Project to promote holistic care while improving access to healthcare services, enhancing quality of life, and strengthening community-based support systems. Through compassionate care and collaborative partnerships, the Foundation seeks to ensure that vulnerable individuals and their families receive comprehensive support, enabling them to live with dignity, hope, and improved well-being.
Our Core Approaches
1. Providing Holistic Care for Patients
We organize teams of staff members and volunteers to conduct home visits, offering basic personal care, hygiene support, emotional encouragement, and compassionate companionship for homebound and bedridden patients, while also providing guidance and support to their families and caregivers.
2. Improving Access to Healthcare Services
We assist patients in accessing essential healthcare by coordinating medical appointments, arranging transportation to hospitals, and providing financial assistance for necessary medical treatment and related expenses whenever appropriate.
3. Supporting Medical Supplies and Essential Equipment
We provide medical supplies, patient-care equipment, disposable medical items, and other essential resources—including medical gloves—to hospitals, healthcare providers, and local communities, helping to strengthen the quality and continuity of patient care.
4. Promoting Family Well-being and Caregiver Support
We encourage the well-being of patients and their families by providing practical information, guidance, emotional support, and encouragement, helping caregivers reduce stress while improving the quality of care and family life.
5. Strengthening Community Health Partnerships
We collaborate with hospitals, public health agencies, local authorities, community organizations, volunteers, and partner institutions to develop sustainable networks of care that enhance health services and promote long-term community well-being.
Project Goal
The Health, Care and Well-being Project aims to ensure that vulnerable individuals—including homebound and bedridden patients, older persons, and families experiencing hardship—receive compassionate, holistic, and person-centered care. The Foundation is committed to improving equitable access to healthcare, enhancing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being, and empowering families and communities to care for one another with compassion, dignity, and hope. Through collaborative partnerships, the project seeks to foster healthier, stronger, and more caring communities where no one is left behind.
