The Warm Healing Hands for Child Development Foundation believes that the family is the cornerstone of every child’s healthy growth and development. A loving, stable, and nurturing family provides the essential foundation for children to flourish physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and morally.
Recognizing the vital role of families in shaping the future of children, the Foundation established the Family Strengthening Project to empower and strengthen families, particularly those experiencing vulnerability, including widows, orphans, caregivers, and households facing economic or social hardship. Through comprehensive support and capacity-building initiatives, we seek to help families achieve stability, resilience, and long-term self-reliance while creating safe and nurturing environments where children can thrive.
Our Core Approaches
1. Strengthening Family Foundations
We provide training programs, workshops, and educational activities that strengthen family relationships, improve communication, develop life skills, and promote healthy family functioning.
2. Promoting Positive Parenting and Healthy Family Relationships
We equip parents and caregivers with practical knowledge and skills in positive parenting, healthy communication, age-appropriate child development, and constructive conflict resolution, fostering loving and supportive family environments.
3. Expanding Educational Opportunities
We provide scholarships, educational assistance, school supplies, and learning resources for children and youth from disadvantaged families, ensuring equitable access to quality education and opportunities to reach their full potential.
4. Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods and Self-Reliance
We support vocational training, livelihood development, entrepreneurship, mentoring, and seed funding to strengthen household income, improve economic resilience, and enable families to achieve sustainable self-reliance.
Project Goal
